I mean Pay to Play, as in your going to have to pay to do features.

P2P = Pay to Play, but he probably means P2W (Pay to Win).

It's a concept where players feel as if they won't be able to progress through a game unless they purchase some sort of item / boost with real money.

It has a very negative connotation to it, and I suggest not going towards that route.
